Field support outdoor wear

Designed and crafted outdoor-oriented garments using surplus fabric, primarily cotton and linen, emphasizing the connection between material choice and functional, context-driven design.

Cotton and linen were used as natural fibers over synthetic fabrics. In a future iteration of this project, it would be ideal to experiment with other natural or sustainable fibers that have lower environmental impacts in other phases such as growing and harvesting the fibers.

This project sprouted after I spent a week living at Salmon Creek Farm in northern California, a commune-farm-homestead with cabins built from scavenged materials and practicing zero-waste initiatives.

Dual-directional front pockets provide space for tools and hands.

Featuring two, large back pockets to hold foraged items, books, and other on the go accompaniments.
